Think beyond the norm with your programming and adapt Aquatics to the needs of the community. Working together with other organizations (Beacons, Targeted Services, physical education and DAC Lifestyles) expands our goal to bring water safety to communities who have higher drowning rates. See how collaborating with your community can make more culturally relevant and accessible programs.
Facilitators will share how an idea of sharing and learning about the history of our community has blossomed into a robust community partnership. The Many Faces of the White Bear Lake Area provides opportunities for community members to listen, educate themselves, and engage in conversations to better understand the role we each play in creating a more welcoming community.
